Thermoplastics typically encounter multiple rounds of recycling, and hence end up with poor mechanical properties. While traditional impact modifiers increase the impact resistance at the cost of other properties, RebornⓇ PP Toughener is a next generation PP impact modifier which has been formulated to increase impact resistance and elongation at Break with minimal effect on the Tensile Strength of the material. This Masterbatch is in a ready to use granule form and is to be added in low dosage levels (1-2%) directly at the time of processing. The use of RebornⓇ PP Toughener helps extend the performance limits of recycled polypropylene (PP) and makes it possible to use it in functional applications which were earlier not possible.
